1 From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made woven garments for service in the sanctuary. They also made the holy garments for Aaron, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
2 He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely twisted linen. 3 They hammered out the gold into sheets, and he cut it into threads to work into the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, the work of a skilled craftsman. 4 They made shoulder pieces for it that joined it together; it was joined at its two ends. 5 The skillfully woven band on it was of one piece with it and made like it: gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely twisted linen, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 6 They prepared the onyx stones, mounted in gold settings, engraved like a seal with the names of the sons of Israel. 7 He put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
8 He made the breastpiece, the work of a skilled craftsman, like the work of the ephod: gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely twisted linen. 9 It was square. They made the breastpiece folded double, about nine inches long and nine inches wide when doubled. 10 They set four rows of stones in it: a row of a carnelian, a topaz, and an emerald; this was the first row. 11 The second row was a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond. 12 The third row was a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst. 13 The fourth row was a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were mounted in gold settings. 14 There were twelve stones corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel, according to their names, engraved like a seal, each with its name, for the twelve tribes. 15 They made chains for the breastpiece of pure gold, twisted like cords. 16 They made two gold settings and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastpiece. 17 They put the two gold cords through the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece. 18 They attached the two ends of the two cords to the two settings and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod at its front. 19 They made two gold rings and put them on the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inner edge facing the ephod. 20 They made two gold rings and put them at the lower part of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, at its front, close to its joining, above the woven band of the ephod. 21 They tied the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it lay above the woven band of the ephod and the breastpiece would not come loose from the ephod, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 22 He made the robe of the ephod, the work of a weaver, entirely of blue cloth. 23 The opening of the robe was in its middle, like the opening of a coat of armor. There was a binding around the opening, so that it would not tear. 24 They made pomegranates of twisted blue, purple, and scarlet yarn on the hem of the robe. 25 They made bells of pure gold and put the bells between the pomegranates around the hem of the robe, between the pomegranates: 26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe for service, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
27 They made the tunics of fine linen, the work of a weaver, for Aaron and his sons, 28 the turban of fine linen, the ornate caps of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of finely twisted linen, 29 and the sash of finely twisted linen and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, the work of an embroiderer, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
30 They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold and wrote on it, engraved like a seal, “Holy to the LORD.” 31 They attached a blue cord to it, to fasten it on the turban above, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
32 So all the work of the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything as the LORD had commanded Moses; so they did.
33 They brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent and all its utensils, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 34 the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of fine leather, and the screening veil; 35 the ark of the Testimony, its poles, and the mercy seat; 36 the table, all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence; 37 the pure lampstand, its lamps, the lamps arranged in order, all its utensils, and the oil for the light; 38 the gold altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the entrance screen of the tent; 39 the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils, the basin and its stand; 40 the hangings of the courtyard, its pillars and its bases, the screen for the courtyard gate, its cords and its pegs, and all the utensils of the tabernacle service for the Tent of Meeting; 41 the woven garments for service in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for priestly service. 42 According to everything the LORD had commanded Moses, so the Israelites did all the work. 43 Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded; so they had done. And Moses blessed them.
