25
1 To you, LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 My God, in you I trust;
do not let me be put to shame or let my enemies exult over me.
3 Indeed, none who wait for you will be put to shame;
those who act treacherously without cause will be put to shame.
4 Make your ways known to me, LORD;
teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all day.
6 Remember your compassion, LORD, and your steadfast love, for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
remember me according to your steadfast love, for the sake of your goodness, LORD.
8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
9 He guides the humble in justice and teaches the humble his way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For your name’s sake, LORD, forgive my iniquity, for it is great.
12 Who is the man who fears the LORD?
He will teach him the way he should choose.
13 His soul will dwell in well-being, and his offspring will inherit the land.
14 The LORD’s intimate counsel is for those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known to them.
15 My eyes are always toward the LORD, for he will draw my feet out of the net.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have grown;
bring me out of my distresses.
18 See my affliction and my toil, and forgive all my sins.
19 See how many my enemies are and how violently they hate me.
20 Guard my soul and deliver me;
do not let me be put to shame, for in you I take refuge.
21 Let integrity and uprightness guard me, for I wait for you.
22 Redeem Israel, God, from all his troubles.
