1 Hear my cry, God;
attend to my prayer.
2 From the ends of the earth I call to you when my heart grows faint;
lead me to a rock higher than I am.
3 For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.
4 Let me dwell in your tent forever;
let me take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.
5 For you, God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the inheritance of those who fear your name.
6 Add days to the days of the king;
let his years extend through generation after generation.
7 Let him sit enthroned before God forever;
appoint steadfast love and truth to guard him.
8 Then I will sing praise to your name forever, fulfilling my vows day after day.
