Psalm.
Chapter 26.
Vindicate me, LORD, for I have walked in my integrity and trusted in the LORD; I will not slip.
Examine me, LORD, and test me; refine my inmost thoughts and my heart.
For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I have walked in your faithfulness.
I have not sat with false men, nor will I join those who conceal what they are.
I hate the assembly of evildoers and will not sit with the wicked.
I wash my hands in innocence and go around your altar, LORD,
to sound my thanksgiving aloud and recount all your wonders.
LORD, I love the dwelling of your house and the place where your glory resides.
Do not gather my soul with sinners or my life with bloodthirsty men,
whose hands hold wicked schemes and whose right hands are full of bribes.
But I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be gracious to me.
My foot stands on level ground; in the assemblies I will bless the LORD.
