Psalm.
Chapter 92.
It is good to give thanks to the LORD and sing praise to your name, Most High,
to declare your steadfast love in the morning and your faithfulness by night,
with a ten-stringed instrument and a harp, with the melody of the lyre.
For you have gladdened me by your work, LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands.
How great are your works, LORD! Your thoughts are very deep.
A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand this:
though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, it is so they may be destroyed forever.
But you, LORD, are on high forever.
For look, your enemies, LORD—for look, your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
You have lifted my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.
My eyes look upon those who watch me; my ears hear the evildoers who rise against me.
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age; they will be full of sap and green,
declaring that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no injustice in him.
