2 “Dominion and dread are with him;
he makes peace in his heights.
3 Can his armies be numbered?
On whom does his light not rise?
4 How then can a mortal be in the right before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?
5 Look, even the moon does not shine, and the stars are not pure in his eyes.
6 How much less a mortal, a maggot, and a son of man, a worm!”
