My soul shallboastintheLORD.
The humble shall hear ofitandbe glad.
Oh magnify theLORDwithme.
Let’s exalt his name together.
I sought theLORD, andhe answered me,
anddeliveredmefromallmy fears.
Theylookedtohim, andwere radiant.
Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
This poor man cried, andtheLORD heard him,
and saved himoutofallhis troubles.
TheLORD’s angel encamps around thosewho fear him,
Oh taste and see thattheLORDis good.
Blessed isthe man who takes refuge inhim.
Oh fear theLORD, youhis saints,
forthereisno lack withthosewho fear him.
10 The young lions dolack, and suffer hunger,
butthosewho seek theLORDshallnotlackany good thing.
11 Come, you children, listentome.
Iwill teach youthe fear oftheLORD.
12 Whois someone who desires life,
and loves many days, thathemay see good?
13 Keepyour tongue from evil,
andyour lips from speaking lies.
14 Depart fromevil, anddo good.
Seek peace, and pursue it.
15 TheLORD’s eyes are towards the righteous.
His ears listen totheir cry.
16 TheLORD’s faceisagainst those whodo evil,
to cut off their memory fromthe earth.
17 The righteous cry, andtheLORD hears,
and delivers themoutofalltheirtroubles.
18 TheLORDis near tothosewhohavea broken heart,
andsavesthosewhohavea crushed spirit.
19 Many arethe afflictions ofthe righteous,
buttheLORDdelivershim out ofthemall.
20 He protects allofhis bones.
Notoneofthemis broken.
21 Evil shall kill the wicked.
Thosewho hate the righteous shallbe condemned.
22 TheLORD redeems the soul ofhis servants.
None ofthosewho take refuge inhimshallbecondemned.
