The Loʀᴅ spoke again to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘ALev 23:4, 37, 44; Num 29:39The Loʀᴅ’s appointed times which you shall BLev 23:21proclaim as holy convocations—My appointed times are these:
AEx 20:9, 10; 23:12; 31:13-17; 35:2, 3; Lev 19:3; Deut 5:13, 14For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to the Loʀᴅ in all your dwellings.
‘These are the AEx 23:14; Lev 23:2appointed times of the Loʀᴅ, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them.  ‘AEx 12:18, 19; Num 28:16-25; Deut 16:1; Josh 5:10In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month 1Lit between the two eveningsat twilight is the Loʀᴅ’s Passover.  ‘Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the AEx 12:14-20; 23:15; 34:18; Deut 16:3-8Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Loʀᴅ; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.  ‘On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall ALev 23:8, 21, 25, 35, 36not do any laborious work.  ‘But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the Loʀᴅ. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.’ ”
Then the Loʀᴅ spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and AEx 23:19; 34:26reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11  ‘He shall wave the sheaf before the Loʀᴅ for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12  ‘Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to the Loʀᴅ. 13  ‘Its ALev 6:20grain offering shall then be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to the Loʀᴅ for a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a fourth of a 1I.e. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
15 ANum 28:26-31; Deut 16:9-12You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. 16  ‘You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a ANum 28:26new grain offering to the Loʀᴅ. 17  ‘You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths of an 1I.e. You shall do no laborious BLev 23:7work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.
22 ALev 19:9, 10; Deut 24:19; Ruth 2:15fWhen you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the Loʀᴅ your God.’ ”
23 Again the Loʀᴅ spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘ANum 29:1In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a 1Lit sabbath restrest, a BNum 10:9, 10reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25  ‘You shall ALev 23:21not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the Loʀᴅ.’ ”

26 The Loʀᴅ spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “On exactly ALev 16:29; 25:9; Num 29:7the tenth day of this seventh month is BEx 30:10; Lev 16:30; 23:28; Num 29:7-11the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the Loʀᴅ. 28  “You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is a ALev 23:27day of atonement, BLev 16:34to make atonement on your behalf before the Loʀᴅ your God. 29  “If there is any 1Lit soulperson who will not humble himself on this same day, AGen 17:14; Lev 13:46; Num 5:2he shall be cut off from his people. 30  “As for any person who does any work on this same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. 31  “You shall do no work at all. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. 32  “It is to be a sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall humble your souls; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath.”
33 Again the Loʀᴅ spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On ANum 29:12the fifteenth of this seventh month is the BLev 23:42, 43; Deut 16:13, 16; Ezra 3:4; Neh 8:14; Zech 14:16; John 7:2Feast of Booths for seven days to the Loʀᴅ. 35  ‘On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do ALev 23:25no laborious work of any kind. 36  ‘ANum 29:12-34For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the Loʀᴅ.
