Indeed, even now you are not yet able, 3 for you are still fleshly. 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? 10 According to ARom 12:3; 1 Cor 15:10the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder BRom 15:20; 1 Cor 3:11fI laid a foundation, and C1 Thess 3:2another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no man can lay a AIs 28:16; Eph 2:20; 1 Pet 2:4fffoundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, 1Or costlyprecious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 A1 Cor 4:5each man’s work will become evident; for BMatt 10:15; 1 Cor 1:8; 2 Thess 1:7-10; 2 Tim 1:12, 18; 4:8the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test 1Lit of what sort each man’s work isthe quality of each man’s work. 14 If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will A1 Cor 3:8; 4:5; 9:17; Gal 6:4receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet AJob 23:10; Ps 66:10, 12; Jude 23so as through fire.

18 AIs 5:21Let no man deceive himself. For BRom 8:32all things belong to you, 22 A1 Cor 1:12; 3:5, 6whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or BRom 8:38life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, 23 and A1 Cor 15:23; 2 Cor 10:7; Gal 3:29you belong to Christ; and B1 Cor 11:3; 15:28Christ belongs to God.
