The Perfect High Priest

And ANum 16:40; 18:7; 2 Chr 26:18no one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God, even BEx 28:1; 1 Chr 23:13as Aaron was.
So also Christ AJohn 8:54did not glorify Himself so as to become a BHeb 2:17; 5:10high priest, but He who CHeb 1:1, 5said to Him,
