35 And He said to them, AMatt 10:9f; Mark 6:8; Luke 9:3ff; 10:4When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.” 36 And He said to them, “But now, 1Lit he whowhoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and 1Lit he whowhoever has no sword is to sell his 2Or outer garmentcoat and buy one. 37  “For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, ‘AIs 53:12Aɴᴅ Hᴇ wᴀs ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀᴇᴅ wɪᴛʜ ᴛʀᴀɴsɢʀᴇssoʀs’; for BJohn 17:4; 19:30that which refers to Me has its 1Lit endfulfillment.” 38 They said, “Lord, look, here are two ALuke 22:36, 49swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
