1 After these things I heard something like a AJer 51:48; Rev 11:15; 19:6loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,

CRev 7:10Salvation and DRev 4:11glory and power belong to our God; 2 APs 19:9ʙᴇcᴀᴜsᴇ Hɪs BRev 6:10ᴊᴜᴅɢᴍᴇɴᴛs ᴀʀᴇ CRev 16:7ᴛʀᴜᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ʀɪɢʜᴛᴇoᴜs; for He has judged the DRev 17:1great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and Hᴇ ʜᴀs EDeut 32:43; 2 Kin 9:7; Rev 16:6; 18:20ᴀvᴇɴɢᴇᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ʙʟooᴅ oꜰ Hɪs ʙoɴᴅ-sᴇʀvᴀɴᴛs 1Lit from her handoɴ ʜᴇʀ.” 3 And a second time they said, “APs 104:35; Rev 19:1, 4, 6Hallelujah! BIs 34:10; Rev 14:11Hᴇʀ sᴍoᴋᴇ ʀɪsᴇs ᴜᴘ ꜰoʀᴇvᴇʀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴇvᴇʀ.” 4 And the ARev 4:4, 10twenty-four elders and the BRev 4:6four living creatures CRev 4:10fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne saying, “DPs 106:48; Rev 5:14Amen. EPs 104:35; Rev 19:3, 6Hallelujah!” 5 And a voice came from the throne, saying,

Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, BRev 11:18you who fear Him, the small and the great.” 6 Then I heard something like AJer 51:48; Rev 11:15; 19:1the voice of a great multitude and like BEzek 1:24; Rev 1:15the sound of many waters and like the CRev 6:1sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,

7  “Let us rejoice and be glad and ARev 11:13give the glory to Him, for BMatt 22:2; 25:10; Luke 12:36; John 3:29; Eph 5:23, 32; Rev 19:9the marriage of the Lamb has come and His 1Lit wifeCMatt 1:20; Rev 21:2, 9bride has made herself ready.” 8 It was given to her to clothe herself in ARev 15:6; 19:14fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the BRev 15:4righteous acts of the 1Or holy onessaints.

9 Then ARev 17:1; 19:10he *said to me, “BRev 1:19Write, ‘CMatt 22:2f; Luke 14:15Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’ ” And he *said to me, “DRev 17:17; 21:5; 22:6These are true words of God.” 10 Then ARev 22:8I fell at his feet to worship him. BActs 10:26; Rev 22:9But he *said to me, “Do not do that; I am a CRev 1:1ffellow servant of yours and your brethren who DRev 12:17hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

11 And I saw AEzek 1:1; John 1:51; Rev 4:1heaven opened, and behold, a BRev 6:2; 19:19, 21white horse, and He who sat on it is called CRev 3:14Faithful and True, and in DPs 96:13; Is 11:4righteousness He judges and wages war. 12 His ADan 10:6; Rev 1:14eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many BRev 6:2; 12:3diadems; and He has a CRev 2:17; 19:16name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13 He is clothed with a AIs 63:3robe dipped in blood, and His name is called BJohn 1:1The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in ARev 19:8fine linen, BRev 3:4; 19:8white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15 ARev 1:16; 19:21From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that BIs 11:4; 2 Thess 2:8with it He may strike down the nations, and He will 1Or shepherdCPs 2:9; Rev 2:27rule them with a rod of iron; and DIs 63:3; Joel 3:13; Rev 14:19, 20He treads the 2Lit wine press of the wine of the wrath of God’s angerwine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has ARev 2:17; 19:12a name written, “BRev 17:14KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

17 Then I saw 1Lit onean angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to ARev 19:21all the birds which fly in BRev 8:13midheaven, “C1 Sam 17:44; Jer 12:9; Ezek 39:17Come, assemble for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may AEzek 39:18-20eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of 1I.e. chiliarchs, in command of one thousand troopscommanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, BRev 6:15both free men and slaves, and CRev 11:18; 13:16; 19:5small and great.”

19 And I saw ARev 11:7; 13:1the beast and BRev 16:14, 16the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who CRev 19:11, 21sat on the horse and against His army.

20 And the beast was seized, and with him the ARev 16:13false prophet who BRev 13:13performed the signs 1Or by his authorityCRev 13:12in his presence, by which he DRev 13:14deceived those who had received the ERev 13:16fmark of the beast and those who FRev 13:12, 15worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the GRev 20:10, 14f; 21:8lake of HIs 30:33; Dan 7:11; Rev 14:10fire which burns with 2I.e. burning sulphurbrimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which ARev 19:15came from the mouth of Him who BRev 19:11, 19sat on the horse, and CRev 19:17all the birds were filled with their flesh.
