Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death.
1 APs 18:1I love the Loʀᴅ, because He BPs 6:8; 66:19; Is 37:17; Dan 9:18hears
My voice and my supplications.
2 Because He has APs 17:6; 31:2; 40:1inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
3 The APs 18:4, 5cords of death encompassed me
And the 1Lit straitsterrors of 2I.e. the nether worldSheol 3Lit found mecame upon me;
I found distress and sorrow.
4 Then APs 18:6; 118:5I called upon the name of the Loʀᴅ:
“O Loʀᴅ, I beseech You, 1Or deliver my soulBPs 17:13; 22:20save my life!”

Yes, our God is CEx 34:6compassionate.
6 The Loʀᴅ preserves APs 19:7; Prov 1:4the simple;
I was BPs 79:8; 142:6brought low, and He saved me.

For the Loʀᴅ has BPs 13:6; 142:7dealt bountifully with you.

My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
