The Loʀᴅ Praised for Giving Deliverance.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the Loʀᴅ, A2 Sam 22:1-51who spoke to the Loʀᴅ the words of this song in the day that the Loʀᴅ delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said,
1 “I love You, O Loʀᴅ, APs 59:17my strength.”

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;

3 I call upon the Loʀᴅ, who is APs 48:1; 96:4; 145:3worthy to be praised,
And I am BPs 34:6saved from my enemies.
4 The APs 116:3cords of death encompassed me,

The snares of death confronted me.
6 In my APs 50:15; 120:1distress I called upon the Loʀᴅ,
And cried to my God for help;

Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

And the Most High uttered His voice,

And BDeut 32:13sets me upon my high places.
34 He APs 144:1trains my hands for battle,

35 You have also given me APs 33:20the shield of Your salvation,
