Zion’s Glory and New Name
1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her AIs 1:26; 58:8; 61:11righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her BIs 46:13; 52:10salvation like a torch that is burning.
2 The AIs 60:3nations will see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory;
And you will be called by a new BIs 56:5; 62:4, 12; 65:15name
Which the mouth of the Loʀᴅ will designate.
3 You will also be a AIs 28:5; Zech 9:16; 1 Thess 2:19crown of beauty in the hand of the Loʀᴅ,
And a royal 1Lit turbandiadem in the hand of your God.
Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “2I.e. ShemamahDesolate”;
But you will be called, “3I.e. HephzibahMy delight is in her,”
And your land, “4I.e. BeulahBHos 2:19, 20Married”;
For the CJer 32:41; Zeph 3:17Loʀᴅ delights in you,
And to Him your land will be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So your sons will marry you;
And as the 1Lit exultation of the bridegroombridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So your AIs 65:19God will rejoice over you.
6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed AIs 52:8; Jer 6:17; Ezek 3:17; 33:7watchmen;
All day and all night they will never keep silent.

9 But those who AIs 65:13, 21-23garner it will eat it and praise the Loʀᴅ;
