Rewards for Obedience to God
1 Thus says the Loʀᴅ,
“AIs 1:17; 33:5; 61:8Preserve justice and do righteousness,
For My BPs 85:9; Is 46:13; 51:5salvation is about to come
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 “How APs 112:1; 119:1, 2blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who BIs 56:4, 6takes hold of it;
Who CEx 20:8-11; 31:13-17; Is 56:6; 58:13; Jer 17:21, 22; Ezek 20:12, 20keeps from profaning the sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Let not the AIs 14:1; 56:6foreigner who has joined himself to the Loʀᴅ say,
“The Loʀᴅ will surely separate me from His people.”
Nor let the BDeut 23:1; Jer 38:7; Acts 8:27eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”

For thus says the Loʀᴅ,
“To the eunuchs who AIs 56:2, 6keep My sabbaths,
And choose what pleases Me,
And BIs 56:6hold fast My covenant,
5 To them I will give in My AIs 2:2, 3; 56:7; 66:20house and within My BIs 26:1; 60:18walls a memorial,
And a name better than that of sons and daughters;

6 “Also the AIs 56:3; 60:10; 61:5foreigners who join themselves to the Loʀᴅ,
To minister to Him, and to love the name of the Loʀᴅ,
To be His servants, every one who BIs 56:2, 4keeps from profaning the sabbath
And holds fast My covenant;
And CIs 61:10make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on DIs 60:7My altar;
For EMatt 21:13; Mark 11:17; Luke 19:46My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
8 The Lord 1Heb YHWH, usually rendered LoʀᴅGoᴅ, who AIs 11:12gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares,
“Yet BIs 60:3-11; 66:18-21; John 10:16others I will gather to 2Lit himthem, to those already gathered.”
9 All you AIs 18:6; 46:11beasts of the field,
All you beasts in the forest,
Come to eat.
All of them know nothing.
All of them are mute dogs unable to bark,
