6 “1Lit Ho! Ho!Ho there! AJer 3:18Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Loʀᴅ, “for I have BJer 31:10; Ezek 11:16dispersed you as the four winds of the heavens,” declares the Loʀᴅ. 7 “Ho, Zion! AIs 48:20; Jer 51:6Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.” 8 For thus says the Loʀᴅ of hosts, “After 1Or the gloryAIs 60:7-9glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the 2Lit pupilBDeut 32:10; Ps 17:8apple of His eye. 9  “For behold, I will AIs 19:16wave My hand over them so that they will be BIs 14:2plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the Loʀᴅ of hosts has sent Me. 10  “AIs 65:18, 19; Zech 9:9Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will BZech 2:5; 8:3dwell in your midst,” declares the Loʀᴅ. 11 “AMic 4:2Many nations will join themselves to the Loʀᴅ in that day and will become My people. Then I will BZech 2:5, 10dwell in your midst, and you will CZech 2:9know that the Loʀᴅ of hosts has sent Me to you. 12  “The Loʀᴅ will 1Or inheritADeut 32:9; Ps 33:12; Jer 10:16possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again B2 Chr 6:6; Ps 132:13, 14; Zech 1:17choose Jerusalem.
